Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Database Administrators to support a large client. This person will be designing, implementing and maintaining database systems within Oracle, SQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB. They will be supporting the enterprise applications, both in house and off the shelf applications. They will be performance tuning, system hardening and disaster recovery. They will be working to automate tasks using Bash scripts, automating CI/CD pipelines and integrating applications with databases while ensuring database resiliency and performance. They will supporting the database roadmaps for recommended upgrades, migrations and modernizations.

Required Skills & Experience

8+ years of experience as an enterprise DBA
Understanding structures of schemas within Oracle, SQL, PostgreSQL and MongoDB
Data modeling, ETL and BI reporting
Microsoft SQL Servers (all versions, AlwaysOn, clustering and replications)
Oracle Database Knowledge
Experience with CI/CD pipelines
Scripting Languages including Bash, Python, Powershell or Perl

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

DB2/Mainframe Knowledge (LUW, z/OS)
Cosmo DB, DynamoDB
Elasticsearch
Infrastructure as a Code (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet or Chef)
Bachelors Degree
Certifications including Oracle OCP, Azure Database Administrator, AWS Database Specialty, MongoDB certified DBA)
