Job Description

As a Manufacturing Engineer in Customer Service Engineering, you will orchestrate the production process from design to delivery, ensuring products are manufactured efficiently, cost-effectively, and to the highest quality standards—even when the factory is not directly controlled by the company. You will resolve both short- and long-term hardware demands for gas turbines and ancillary equipment, collaborating across design, procurement, quality, and vendor teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support design for manufacturing and provide feedback on feasibility for gas turbine hardware.
• Stay current with new manufacturing technologies and methods.
• Assist procurement and quality teams in selecting optimal vendors and assessing their capabilities.
• Drive cost reduction initiatives through process/material alternatives and design changes.
• Ensure compliance with AERO quality requirements and support manufacturing process approval.
Facilitate technical communication with vendors, translating design intent and addressing challenges.

Required Skills & Experience

- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in manufacturing technology, engineering, or similar.
- Demonstrated technical competence in manufacturing and process engineering.
- Experience working cross functionally across diverse teams and stake holders.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Experience with gas turbine hardware manufacturing or repair.
- Familiarity with vendor management and process control in a distributed manufacturing environment.
- Proven ability to drive cost reduction through design and process improvements.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
