Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a detail‑oriented Engineering or Quality professional to support work on program development.
This individual will play a key role in creating standard work, documenting processes, and capturing lessons learned across the team. The work is largely computer‑based and focused on metrology and inspection tools, with collaboration from experienced team members across Quality and Engineering. Over the next 6–8 months, the primary focus will be building and documenting standard processes by partnering with subject matter experts and translating their workflows into repeatable standard work.
Goals:
- Create and document standard work by working directly with team members and capturing existing processes
- Support the testing, updating, and loading of software tools used in inspection and metrology
- Help update and maintain tools and ensure data is properly loaded into Net Inspect
- Assist with metrology and inspection activities, including interaction with CMM-related work
- Track tasks and progress using JIRA
- Collaborate with Quality and Engineering stakeholders to support military customer requirements
- Contribute to continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and improving documentation

Required Skills & Experience

- Background in Engineering or Quality
- Experience with CAD (NX preferred)
- Ability to document processes clearly and create standard work
- Comfortable working in a structured, detail‑oriented environment with military programs

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Prior security clearance
- Exposure to metrology software such as Metrologic or Capvidia
- CMM programming experience
- Experience with JIRA or similar task‑tracking tools
