Job Description

Insight Global seeking a proactive, goal oriented, and detail-focused Product Manufacturing Engineer to enhance production efficiencies, improve machining and assembly operations, maintain quality standards, and implementing innovative solutions. In this role, this individual will collaborate closely with Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Design Engineering, Quality, and Operations teams. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

-Lead and execute Manufacturing Readiness Level (MRL) assessments, including:
-Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA)
-Measurement System Analysis (MSA)
-Control Plans and related quality tools

-Drive execution of Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) improvement initiatives

-Provide hands-on shop floor support to resolve manufacturing and quality issues

-Partner with cross-functional teams across Operations, Supply Chain, and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs)

-Improve supplier and internal production quality and delivery performance

-Support continuous improvement efforts through data-driven analysis and statistical methods

Required Skills & Experience

-Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 10 years of prior relevant experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, Engineering, or Quality; OR Advanced Degree with prior relevant experience via Research, Internships or COOP’s.

-Ability to effectively communicate (verbal and written), work and relate with people at all levels of the organization and be self-sufficient.

-Excellent knowledge of MS office computer software including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

-Able to use Minitab and other statistical software.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

-Previous manufacturing experience at Pratt & Whitney on large aerospace components or cases preferred.

-Proficiency in statistics, data analytics, DOE, and multivariate statistics using Minitab or other statistical software

-Six Sigma or Project Management Certification preferred
