Job Description

Insight Global is seeking to hire an Lab Technician at a large aerospace company. The role supports a team of four scientists by performing essential lab tasks such as sample prep, titration, pH testing, oil analysis, and data collection using advanced instrumentation like ICP, FTIR, and GC-MS. The ideal candidate will have a chemistry or science background, be highly motivated to learn, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. The lab supports cradle-to-grave material process engineering, including failure analysis, product support, and alloy testing. The team values flexibility, collaboration, and precision, and is looking for someone who can quickly adapt to a steep learning curve.

Required Skills & Experience

- Bachelor's degree and a background in Chemistry or another scientific discipline
- Strong motivation and willingness to learn quickly
- Excellent task management and organizational skills
- Experience with data collection and lab instrumentation

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Familiarity with lab software (e.g., Thermo, TA Instruments)
- Detail-oriented with strong communication and technical writing skills
- Experience with instrumentation such as FTIR, GC-MS, ICP, titration, and pH analysis
- Exposure to EH&S protocols and lab maintenance
