Job Description

Overview
Insight Global is seeking an entry-level field surveyor to support daily surveying operations, including data collection, equipment setup, construction staking, and basic CAD exposure. Ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on outdoor work and wants to grow technical surveying skills.

Required Skills & Experience

Must Haves
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to work outdoors in varied terrain and weather
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle equipment setup
• Team‑oriented, detail‑focused, proactive, and committed to safety
• Willingness to learn survey equipment, field procedures, and CAD basics

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Plusses
• Associate degree in surveying, engineering, or related field
• AutoCAD or Civil3D experience (0–4 years)
• Prior field or surveying experience
• Familiarity with GPS/GNSS, total stations, or laser scanning systems
