Insight Global is looking for a Software Engineer to sit in Cheshire, CT. You will design and maintain control software for chemical automation equipment, including programming, testing, and providing remote customer assistance for system deployment. You will offer technical expertise in application development, system setup, and troubleshooting, as well as plan and write programming code to meet functional goals on schedule. Additionally, you will support the creation of technical documentation, report on project progress, update plans, and communicate changes. Collaboration with team members across various engineering disciplines is essential to achieve objectives, and you will promptly resolve support issues to maintain system uptime.

3+ years experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MSSQL to help write queries and connect databases across different system
3+ years experience with C# and .NET programming
3+ years experience designing and developing desktop user interfaces is required utilizing WPF and MVVM development
BA/BS degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field; equivalent experience will be considered
