Job Description

The Senior Network Engineer will design, support, and optimize complex multi-site networks, providing Tier 3 support for routing, switching, DNS/DHCP, and firewalls. Theyll lead network automation efforts using Python, manage load balancing technologies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high performance and reliability. The role also involves advanced troubleshooting, mentoring, and contributing to network architecture and strategy.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of core networking skills performing route/switching.
Advanced level understanding of load balancing technologies
Ability to provide tier 3 support of networking technologies such DHCP/DNS, and firewalls
Strong python skills, including automations and integrations
At least 3 years of experience working with complex, high performance networks with many sites (data centers and/or branch locations)
Advanced knowledge of network design, network operation or network automation
Advanced knowledge of one or more of: Arista EOS operating systems, F5 load balancers, Infoblox and Palo Alto firewalls
Knowledge of routing protocols including BGP, OSPF and Multicast

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Troubleshooting experience using Ekahau, packet capture, NetFlow. NetMRI, Splunk, Endace, CA Spectrum, Thousand Eyes a plus
Excellent leadership and mentoring skills.
High level problem-solving and communication skills.
Network automation skills
