Remote Senior System Engineer

Insight Global is seeking a fully remote Senior Systems Engineer to support a shared service devops team for a large healthcare client. This person will be joining a team that provides critical services and supporting infrastructure that underlie our company's CI/CD efforts. This engineer will work collaboratively across our internal Customers, Product Owners and Product teams on technical DevOps solutions and best practices. They will bebuilding and troubleshooting OpenShift deployments and must be comfort following versioning and release strategies with git/GitHub. Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Ansible/Terraform/Helm and a solid knowledge of Linux, Windows OS's and containerization is required.

6+ years within a senior systems engineering role
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or other relevant field
Platform Systems Support Background
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Familiarity with IaC principles is essential
Programming Languages: Proficiency in shell scripting and Python is necessary
Infrastructure Automation tools: Ansible, Terraform and Helm
Kubernetes best practices knowledge
DevOps Experience: Experience in maintaining and supporting on-premises systems in a DevOps context
Code Review and GIT: Familiarity with code reviews and version control using GIT
Automation Mindset: A mindset focused on automating tasks
