Data Entry Technician

The Data Entry Technician will collect and manage data from facilities, wells, and equipment (like the model, manufacturer, performance, etc.). This person will use Excel load sheets to organize a large amount of data related to these categories, after collecting or receiving them from field personnel. In this role, folks will work primarily with other members of the Maintenance Planning team, as well as Field personnel to get the data from each well, rig, machine, etc. each week. Overall, this team makes up the "business support" side of data for the company. The primary responsibility of this person will be to input data into SAP and Excel to them be used for analysis in other arms of the business, as well as some data validation to ensure accurate results. Strong attention to detail is crucial for success.

This person will be working alongside the PM team, the Transactions Team (dealing with POs and invoices), and the Downhole team. They support all locations where this company operates, including TX, DW, NM, WY and CO.

Overall, the team is looking for a detail oriented, team player who is committed to doing the right thing. In this role you will be required to multitask, and be a self-starter in a extremely fast paced environment. Candidates will needs to have basic knowledge and background in SAP, along with intermediate Excel skills. Oil and gas background knowledge is required. This role is a long-term rolling contract, paying anywhere between $27-$41/hr.

1+ years of experience in Data Entry or Validation Role
Experience in the oil and gas industry (preferably related to equipment/production processes)
Intermediate Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, and index match
High school diploma or GED
Ability to work onsite in Platteville, CO 3x/week.
Strong attention to detail when completing repetitive, manual tasks
