Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an Avionics Technician to join an aerospace & defense company in Parker, CO. As an Avionics Technician, you will be using your skills and expertise to perform avionics maintenance according to FCC, FAA and company policies and regulations. You'll be responsible for installing, testing, troubleshooting and repairing avionics components, and maintaining test equipment, tools, and manuals. Pay Rate is up to $40 /hr & Insight Global offers access to full benefits while employed with us, including dental, health, vision, 401k, and free mental health counseling.

Required Skills & Experience

- 4+ years of Avionics installation and maintenance experience on an aircraft
- Ability to understand and interpret basic applicable technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals, and/or publications; ability to route wires per technical drawings
- Advanced skills with avionics installation tooling, wiring, wiring repair, wiring installation, soldering, and crimping techniques
- Experience in terminating any of the following connectors: D-SUB, RJ-45, coax, circular connectors, quadrax, triax, twinax, mighty mouse, terminal blocks, terminal lugs, or Molex
- Hand tools
- Active secret clearance
