Job Description
A client of Insight Global is looking to add a DevOps Engineer to their team to support distributed data platforms and the IIA team. This role focuses on supporting and troubleshooting Spark‑based systems, including Spark on EMR, developing and maintaining services in Python, Scala, and Java, and building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines. The engineer will regularly analyze logs and system behavior to diagnose issues, troubleshoot failures in distributed computing environments, and help ensure the stability and performance of data‑intensive platforms.
This is a continuous contract position and is 3 days a week onsite in Greenwood Village CO. The role pays between $55-$65/ hour.

Required Skills & Experience
Strong Python experience with Scala and Java exposure
Experience with distributed systems
Apache Spark experience for analyzing logs and finding holes (Spark on EMR)
Strong CI/CD background
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience supporting data or analytics platforms
DevOps experience in data‑intensive environments
