Data driven decision-making is a core tenant of Spectrum, and the SpectrumGPT team enables this process. SpectrumGPT is Spectrums internally developed Generative AI enablement platform that enables Charter employees to leverage AI capabilities to enhance productivity. This role (software engineer) will be primarily focused on building Full stack services and managing data exchange between the server and user-facing applications. Responsibilities will include the development of back-end logic, definition and maintenance of the database and maintaining the best possible performance, quality and responsiveness of the application. You will work closely with the front-end developers in order to implement their components into the application. Other activities will include:
o Design, develop, and maintain software solutions using Python, Node.js and its packages/ecosystem.
o Collaborate in a microservices architecture environment to enhance and build reliable REST components.
o Implement and maintain robust non-relational databases including Postgres and Postgres Vector DB.
o Develop and integrate automated unit tests and utilize testing platforms to ensure high-quality software solutions.
o Work extensively within the AWS environment to leverage various services for optimized application performance.
o Utilize Git for version control in a collaborative team setting.
o Participate in all phases of agile development methodologies.
o Analyze complex software issues and implement effective solutions.
o Communicate clearly and effectively with team members and stakeholders.
The pay range for this role i around $35/hour USD.
