Job Description
We are seeking a licensed Structural Engineer to join our team in Estes Park, Colorado, designing and analyzing structural systems for commercial and recreational projects. This role requires expertise in light wood and steel framing, masonry, and concrete, ensuring structural integrity and compliance with building codes. You will provide sealed drawings for permitting and construction while collaborating with a dynamic team.
Schedule: On-site Monday–Thursday, remote on Friday.
Responsibilities
• Design and analyze structural components for buildings and facilities.
• Prepare and review structural drawings and calculations.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and safety standards.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and project managers.
• Provide structural expertise during construction phases.
• Seal drawings and assume responsibility for structural integrity.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $90,000–$130,000. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Required Skills & Experience
Job Requirements
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Structural Engineering (Colorado preferred).
• Minimum 4 years of licensed experience in structural design, including light wood framing, light steel framing, and basic masonry and/or concrete.
• Strong proficiency in structural analysis and design software.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work in-person Monday–Thursday and maintain a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with commercial and recreational projects.
• Familiarity with mechanical systems (bonus, but structural expertise is primary).
• Willingness to mentor junior engineers and contribute to team growth.
