A large telecommunications client is seeking a Systems Engineer to join their growing Lab and Video Operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and monitoring the customer premise equipment (CPE) lab. Key duties include basic triaging, troubleshooting, configuration, and provisioning to ensure the environment's integrity and functionality. Additionally, this role involves deploying code to new hardware equipment. You will need to have experience following documentation, processes, compliance, and procedures.
Pay Range: $33- 38/ hr

3+ years of experience as a Linux System Engineer/System Administrator
Proficiency in Linux (administration, command lines, troubleshooting, deployment)
o Rocky Linux specific experience preferred
Root cause analysis and problem-solving abilities
Experience with documentation, processes, and procedures
Basic scripting knowledge (Python, Cornshell, Ansible)
Telecommunications industry experience or knowledge of CPE equipment, head ends, set-top boxes, controllers, DOCSIS, etc.
Understanding of CEV, KEV, remediation, and basic security concepts
GitLab experience
Familiarity with JSON files
Experience working with virtual machines
Oracle database experience
