Job Description
A client in Colorado is looking for Flight Software Engineers to join their growing team. This team works across a variety of their cleared and uncleared programs in support of space defense, support, and transportation. This company builds and delivers the future of space transportation, destinations and infrastructure, offering “space-as-a-service” in support of the new space economy.
This team is responsible for the development of missile tracking and prediction satellites. There is the potential to work across 6 different cleared programs, all in various stages of software development. It is important to have experience working on highly critical projects and able to thrive in a fast paced environment.
This position is currently slated as a 6 month contract, with potential to extend or convert to an FTE. This is an onsite role in Louisville, CO or Centennial, CO. This is an onsite position with a standard schedule. This role is paying between $60-121/hr, based on experience and education levels. Please note, pay bands are established by the client based on education and years of experience. Insurance benefits and a 401K are offered throughout the contract period, and upon conversion. Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience withing Software Engineering, specifically C++ and Object-Oriented Programming
Familiarity with Open Standards (CCSDS, C2MS, OMS, UCI)
Ability to obtain a Security Clearance
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
3+ years of experience with Computer Aided Engineering tools (MATLAB, Solid Works, Creo, Onshape, etc.)
Experience developing payload control software or flight software development
Ability to obtain a Security Clearance
