Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Sr. Utility Accounting Analyst in the Greater Denver Area. This individual will be responsible for supporting accurate month-end, quarter-end and year-end accounting close cycles and development of subsequent internal & external financial statements, required regulatory reporting forms and filings. You will reconcile assigned accounts, analyze financial data and prepare complex accounting ledger entries, prepare critical reports for C-Suite stakeholders, settle inter-company receivables & payables and prepare property valuations.

Required Skills & Experience

3+ years of professional experience
Accounting or Finance Degree
Big Four OR Public Accounting experience
Experience with Alteryx, PowerBI, Tableau, Microsoft Power Apps or analytical reporting tools

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

CPA
MBA
Experience working in the Energy/Utility industry
Regulatory experience
