Job Description

We are seeking a highly driven and client-focused Project Manager to lead business process improvement and transformation initiatives for our healthcare client. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to design, implement, and optimize new business processes, with a strong emphasis on Medicaid programs. The ideal candidate is sharp, adaptable, and skilled at guiding clients through ambiguity to deliver measurable results.

Key Responsibilities:
• Creates project plans, schedules, budgets, and objectives for medium-sized projects of low to moderate complexity, ensuring alignment with stakeholder expectations.
• Oversees deliverables, costs, and timelines; conducts status reviews, identifies risks, and implements approved mitigation strategies.
• Collaborates with stakeholders to handle changes in technical and business requirements, recommending adjustments based on project metrics and performance.
• Prepares statements of work, participates in delivery assurance reviews, and ensures adherence to project management policies and procedures.
• Assigns tasks, provides direction, addresses performance issues, and offers feedback upon project completion to maintain team effectiveness.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, IT, engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) with
• 6+ years in project management, including methodologies like Catalyst, budgeting, planning, and assurance practices.
• Skilled in project management tools, finance concepts, and techniques for architecture, development, integration, and deployment across project phases.
• Strong communication, leadership, and mentoring abilities; adept at creative problem-solving, multitasking, and managing medium-sized projects in team environments.
• Ability to build networks, willingness to travel, and flexibility for evening/weekend work; experienced in aligning client vision with business objectives and delivery assurance principles.
