Job Description

A large telecommunications provider is looking for a Global Network Operations Tier 2 Technician, daily tasks include monitoring diverse networks, diagnosing and escalating faults, and managing repairs to adhere to service level agreements. The technician coordinates with both internal teams and external contractors, ensuring effective communication and swift resolution of issues. They are also responsible for reporting on fault progress and maintaining service quality, all while supporting the Shift Lead and adhering to ISO standards.

This person can work hybrid in Tulsa, OK or remote anywhere in the United States and it is a 4/3 split night shift pattern, requiring a proactive approach and strong problem-solving skills in a multi-vendor environment. This position is looking to pay 25-35/hr based on skills and experience as well as benefits are offered through Insight Global while on contract.

Required Skills & Experience

- 2 - 4 years (minimum) proven NOC experience in the telecommunications industry
- Layer 2 and 3 troubleshooting experience
- Experience in a multi-vendor environment (Ciena, Cisco, Marconi, Juniper, ADVA, etc.)
- Ability to remotely troubleshoot IP/Ethernet tickets

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Familiarity with Salesforce CRM is desirable
-CCNA certification
