Job Description
A large telecommunications company is looking for a dedicated resource to support one of their largest clients. This resource will be working to communicate between the customer and field teams to identity why an outage happened and prevent the same issues from happening again. This will involve ingesting customer log data and analyzing it against internal network data. The engineer will need to be able to understand the platform, logs and alarms and then reach out to the corresponding teams for deeper analysis. Other duties will include troubleshooting DWDM systems across the portion of the network this customer is on. This role is slated for a 12 month contract with likely extensions.

Required Skills & Experience
5 years experience troubleshooting DWDM Networks
3 years experience with Ciena 6500 /Infinera/Alcatel PSS-32/16 required
3 years experience in a network operations role required.
Experience ingesting and analyzing customer logs
Project management experience - ability to communicate with high level stakeholders internally and externally and provide reconciliation to customer outage issues
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience working in the field as a Fiber Technician
