Job Description
A small group within large telecommunications company is looking for an Internation Finance and Tax Analyst to support international financial reporting, tax compliance, and audit coordination across multiple global entities. With this being a small group, it fosters a lot of learning as people are constantly collaborating and growing as a team. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong organizational skills and a process improvement mindset. Key responsibilities include preparing VAT and GST returns for countries such as Australia, Brazil, Japan, Singapore, and South Africa, and ensuring accurate reconciliation of related accounts. The analyst will collaborate with internal teams and external service providers to maintain compliance and resolve invoice discrepancies. They will also assist in the consolidation of financial reports, support external audits, and ensure adherence to IFRS, US GAAP, or local GAAP standards. Experience with systems like Salesforce and Oracle is highly valued for optimizing reporting processes and tools.
This opportunity is a 12-month contract with likely extensions or conversion depending on performance and business needs. This position is looking to pay 38-43/hr and benefits and access to a 401k are offered while on contract.

Required Skills & Experience
3-5 years of experience in International Tax
Experience in Indirect or Consumption Tax practices
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
Strong skills in MS office suite of tools
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Fluent in Portuguese
CPA, ATA or equivalent finance/accounting accreditation
Experience with Salesforce and/or Oracle
