We are seeking a Project Manager, Fiber Security. Successful candidates will join the Monitoring and Telemetry Technology, to provide project management support of all of our initiatives at this large telecom and fiber company. The PM will oversee projects related to network performance, security, monitoring and telemetry. The candidate will be responsible for overall project management of this teams delivery, emphasis on end-to-end milestone management, budget tracking, reporting, identification and resolution of issues ensuring on time, on budget and on value completion of assigned projects.
An effective PM will work closely with internal teams, vendors, customers, PM will be able to track, report real-time updates, and have a close working knowledge of assigned projects. In addition, the role will require expertise in defining, measuring, and reporting on key project performance metrics with focus on improving visibility into migration performance. The position requires technical aptitude and an ability to understand networking, physical security, cabling infrastructure, OSP, ISP (if required) and procurement activities. Manage project dependencies in order to make essential decisions based on the project management milestones.
Strong organizational and personal communication skills are critical, with attention to details, as this role demands constant interaction with internal support teams, vendors and customers.
This is a 1-2 year contract, fully remote, pay rate: $41/hour.
