Angular Developer

Insight Global is seeking an Angular Front-End Developer to join the Cyber Security Technology (CST) function within Global Information Security organization at a large financial institution. This team is responsible for innovation and architecture, engineering, solutions and capabilities development, deployment maintenance and support of information technology security controls. The role involves daily work with large‑scale application security scanning, reviewing code scan results, and evaluating the overall security posture of enterprise applications. The developer will map scan findings to enterprise controls and collaborate closely with admin‑level users to help them understand system performance and security insights. Although the system supports around 20 active users, it processes data from approximately 3,000 applications and thousands of scans per day, making the application itself large and data‑intensive. From a development perspective, the position requires handling high volumes of data with a relatively small user base, along with applying secure coding practices such as mitigating cross‑site scripting, SQL injection, and implementing proper authentication and authorization. A solid understanding of basic web development concepts, user permissions, and standard secure coding terminology and practices is also expected. The role requires 5 days a week on-site in Denver, CO.

· 5+ years experience as a 70% front-end developer and 30% back-end developer (Angular 19 experience).
· Experience working on brand-new applications building the architecture, structure, components, and services from scratch using the latest Angular versions & best practices.
· Minimal back-end development experience with C# with .Net Core Framework v8.0+.
· Integrate Front-End components with RESTful APIs and web services.
· Relational database experience and proven abilities in SQL Server and data modeling, or Oracle, or MySQL.
· Experience with an open‑source Java framework ZK Framework 8.
