Job Description
An employer is looking for a Software Integration Engineer in the Colorado Springs area. This role is responsible for maintaining lab and mini-node configurations, including adding, removing, and updating Red Hat Package Manager (RPM) modules to support testing and verification efforts. The position involves executing lab runs to evaluate new software capabilities, performing daily log file management, and creating test scenarios and input files to assess specific system conditions and behaviors within GMD Fire Control software. Responsibilities also include conducting message tracing across software components to ensure proper system functionality, as well as investigating, documenting, and communicating issues to development teams by providing detailed findings and supporting log files. The individual will be required to obtain and maintain Security+ certification and fulfill ongoing training requirements for privileged user access, while actively participating in daily Scrum meetings.
