Secret Model Based Systems Engineer (MBSE)

A company in Colorado Springs, CO is looking for a Models Based System Engineer (MBSE) to join their team! This MBSE will be responsible for developing and managing system architectures, interfaces, and requirements using MBSE tools, as well as helping drive a culture of adoption of MBSE through the organization. They will also:

- Create models using languages like SysML to represent the system's structure, behavior, and various functional and non-functional requirements
- Develop standard work and business operating procedures related to MBSE and system architecture deployment
- Integrate MBSE principles and requirements into digital environments across the enterprise
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure a cohesive and integrated system design and digital environment, and help provide MBSE training and support

This position is onsite full-time at Schriever SFB, and this role will work standard working hours Monday-Friday. The pay range for this role is $60-72/hr, depending on years and level of experience, education, and certifications. This role requires an Active Secret Clearance or higher.

- 3-5+ years of systems engineering experience
- Strong knowledge of systems engineering frameworks (e.g. DoDAF, UAF)
- Strong knowledge of modeling languages (e.g. SysML, UML)
- Experience with model-based SE tools (e.g. DOORS, Cameo, Rhapsody)
- Active Secret Clearance or higher

- Bachelor's degree in IT or a STEM-related field
- Ability to decompose complex IT systems into manageable components
