Job Description

An employer is looking for a Secret or TS Logistics Sustainment Engineer to support a DOD space sensing program in the Colorado Springs area on a hybrid basis. The Logistics Engineer will be responsible for all aspects of sustainment to maintain operational capability and effectiveness of the mission throughout its life cycle. They will translate both system and system-of-system product support strategies into highly tailored and actionable lifecycle sustainment planning. They will assess program documents and risks to determine the impact to product support
resources, plans, and schedules.
Pay range: 70/hr-95/hr depending on experience

Required Skills & Experience

- Active Secret or TS Clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics or Engineering
- 8+ years of experience with logistics and sustainment planning for DoD satellites, ground
software, or hardware systems
- 8+ years of experience in DoD lifecycle logistics, operations, and sustainment planning/ infrastructure
- Knowledge of Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSPs) and processes, including logistics,
obsolescence, tech data, and configuration management
- Understanding of DoD Instructions 5000.2, 5000.88, and 5000.91

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Logistics or Supply Chain Management Certification such as Certified Professional Logistician or Certified Supply Chain Professional Certification
- Experience with test logistics support, including spares and safety
