Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Pricing Analyst to join a dynamic, high-performing team for our client in the Missile Defense Division. Your primary responsibility will be preparing and reviewing competitive cost and pricing submissions for government contracts, while shaping strategies that drive successful outcomes.

Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed cost and pricing volumes for government solicitations, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to client, organizational, and estimating system requirements.
- Guarantee that all cost proposals meet the standards outlined in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), and Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA).
- Partner with internal teams to support the development of Forward Pricing Rate Agreements (FPRAs) and ensure accurate application within proposals and pricing models.
- Work closely with program managers, technical experts, and functional departments to build and validate Basis of Estimates (BOEs) for labor, materials, subcontracts, and other direct costs.
- Establish and justify direct labor rates using internal payroll data and compensation structures as auditable sources.
- Utilize external benchmarks such as Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) data and salary surveys to confirm competitiveness and set rates for new positions.
- Develop and maintain advanced pricing models to analyze cost data, assess price reasonableness, and perform scenario-based analyses to refine pricing strategies.
- Ensure proposals fully comply with FAR, DFARS, and CAS, applying FPRA rates accurately to minimize compliance risks.
- Create and defend comprehensive BOEs for all cost components, particularly direct labor, leveraging both internal and external data sources.
- Build intuitive, robust pricing models that enable effective scenario planning and strategic decision-making.
- Cultivate strong partnerships with Program Management, technical teams, and Finance to deliver cohesive, well-supported proposals.

This position is onsite full-time in Colorado Springs, CO and this role will work standard working hours Monday-Friday. The salary range for this role is $80,000-$100,000/yr depending on years and level of experience, education, and certifications. This role requires an Active Secret Clearance or higher.

Required Skills & Experience

- 3+ years of general full time work experience
- 1+ years of experience in pricing, cost estimating, or financial anlaysist within the U.S. Government contracting industry, preferable within the DoD
- Experience developing cost proposals for various contract types (FFP, CPFF, CPAF, CPIF, T&M)
- Direct experience with the development, application, or negotiation of Forward Pricing Rate Agreements (FPRAs)
- Demonstrated understanding of government contracting regulations and rate structures, including FAR, DFARS, CAS, and Forward Pricing Rate Agreements (FPRAs).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint.
- Active DoD Secret Security Clearance
