Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Cloud Engineer with a strong working knowledge of Linux hosted systems to support us and a DoW customer on a mission critical project in CO Springs. Our program is taking intelligence feeds and data and using them to rapidly prototype and field applications for warfighters. The cloud team maintains, enhances, and upgrades a myriad of applications and services in an enterprise environment. As part of the team, you will participate in implementation and maintenance of On-Prem Cloud and IT Infrastructure to support the customer.
Key Responsibilities
•Provide mid- to top-tier Kubernetes cloud engineering in on-prem heterogeneous environments.
•Develop and maintain automation for deployments/configuration management.
•Administer and manage multiple on-prem cloud environments.
•Monitor and remediate cloud infrastructure health, performance, and availability.
•Provide cloud operations support during exercises.
•Update cloud environments and apply DoD STIGs.
•Manage cloud infrastructure/services (Linux VMs, RKE2, Rancher, storage).
Hourly: 60-67/hr
Salary: 130,000-140,000

Required Skills & Experience
-Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of experience, or 9+ years of experience
-Experience working with Linux OS at an administrative level (strong knowledge of CLI)
-Experience supporting O&M or engineering for cloud based environments (on-prem or commercial)
-Experience ensuring uptime and health of containers (kubernetes or RKE2 preferred)
-Experience using automation tools or scripting for automating tasks
