An employer based in Boulder, CO is looking to hire a Senior Systems Administrator on-site in Broomfield, CO. This person will work directly with Government Service teams to support and provide Linux/PHEL sys admin support to the FORGE mission data processing application framework. They will be responsible for maintaining the framework by providing regular updates, patching, and user management. They will also be involved in software version testing and evaluation, and helping to provide feedback to the development and test/ops teams. They will assist in configuration management in software upgrades and changes as well.
The primary work location for this role will be in Broomfield, with occasional travel to Boulder. You will be expected to be on site 3-4 days a week, with the opportunity to work remote the other days. This is a senior role, and is posted at $150,000-$190,000/yr base salary. This base salary is based off of tenure, experience, skill level, and educational background.

Active DoD Secret Clearance or higher (company will hold whatever your highest clearance is)
Proven experience as a Systems Administrator, preferably in supporting DoD or government customers
Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems and network administration (RHEL)
Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware), cloud services (AWS), and containers (Kubernetes/Docker)
Familiarity with ELK/Elastic Stack and Ansible
Familiarity with DoD security regulations and frameworks, such as RMF (Risk Management Framework)
Understanding of networking protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems
