Job Description
- A client of Insight Global’s is looking to hire a Retail Systems Engineer to join their team. This person will serve as the escalation point for the tier 1 team. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and configuring the POS equipment, network, operating systems, and applications. This position also requires some project management as it relates to hardware refresh efforts, new store support, and preparation work needed for busy seasons. As common issues are discovered it will be requested that this person manage documentation and training the tier 1 team on solutioning these issues. This is a 6-Month contract with the potential to extend or convert depending on budget and performance. This position is onsite 4 days a week, Monday through Thursday, with Friday as a flex day. The office for the client is located in Gurugram, India.
This position will pay between 15 - 20 Laks Per Annum
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience
- 5 years of experience working as a Retail Systems Engineer supporting at a Tier 2 level in a large enterprise environment.
- Experience troubleshooting POS equipment including front of house and back of house peripherals.
- Experience troubleshooting and configuring Cisco Meraki Network equipment.
- Experience troubleshooting IOS and Windows operating systems.
- Documentation experience using confluence and SharePoint.
- Ability to manage the delivery of hardware refreshes, new store openings, and all projects related to busy retail seasons.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience working with Aptos or Team Commerce POS equipment.
- Experience working with regional and global teams.
