Job Description

An employer in Aurora, CO is looking for a Secret cleared System Administrator to join their growing team supporting a large DoD contract. This person will work closely with a talented team to design, manage, secure and optimize the Information Technology (IT) infrastructure for this DoD Contract. They will also be tasked with improving the overall project management discipline of our clients by increasing collaboration and innovation and introducing techniques that promote adaptability and flexibility in the face of unpredictable circumstances, and that optimize return on investment expenditures. Main responsibilities include monitoring system performance and conducting capacity planning, performing fault finding using search techniques and analyzing log data to detect performance issues, and Managing, coordinating, and implementing software upgrades, patches, and fixes on Windows servers, workstations, and virtual machine hypervisors.

This is a full time, direct placement role posted at $125,000 - $180,000 /year (base salary) based on skill level and tenure. This company offers a comprehensive benefits package including PTO, Flex time, retirement plans, healthcare coverage, and more. This role sits full time in Boulder, CO.

Required Skills & Experience

Active DoD Secret Security Clearance or higher

Security+ certification (must be obtained within 90 days of assignment)

Experience with Windows system administration both Desktops and Server

Working with and managing group policies

PowerShell or other scripting/programming language knowledge

Experience with authentication systems such as Active Directory

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Active DoD TS/SCI

Windows Active Directory administration

Experience installing, administering, and maintaining Windows servers and desktops

Proficiency with Microsoft Visio and PowerPoint

Strong personal interaction and communication skills
