Job Description

The Field Services Engineer is responsible for the installation, maintenance, support, and documentation of 911 public safety systems for our client. This role works independently to resolve customer issues, supports post‑sales operations, and serves as an escalation point for junior engineers. Travel to customer sites and participation in scheduled maintenance activities are required.

Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and support 911 public safety systems for our client, both on‑site and remotely
Lead recurring software/firmware updates and perform MACD requests
Serve as escalation point for junior engineers and support post‑sales operations
Troubleshoot issues in accordance with SLAs, including after‑hours and on‑call support as needed
Maintain accurate documentation, tickets, reports, and time/billing records

This is a permanent role located in the Denver Metro. Candidate must be able to work an all call schedule. This is offering 95-105k base salary.

Technicians must be able to drive to customer locations in a personal vehicle.

Required Skills & Experience

- 3-8 years’ Field Engineer or Networking experience
- Certified by Intrado or Motorola
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
- Telephony or Network troubleshooting experience
