Job Description

A manufacturing client is looking for a seasoned VP of Aftersales Operations to lead our Blackwood, NJ headquarters, overseeing a dynamic team of 130+ professionals across field service, customer support, warranty, training, and aftermarket care. This role is critical to driving operational excellence, team development, and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced, service-driven environment.

The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership experience from the manufacturing, material handling or large-scale field service industries, and have a proven track record of managing distributed teams and improving service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of 8 directors overseeing 80+ field service technicians, service coordinators, key account managers, purchasing, warranty billing, and warehouse staff.
- Drive operational performance across aftersales functions, including field service, warranty administration, training, refurbishments, purchasing, and billing.
- Collaborate with executive leadership and sales teams to align service operations with company goals and customer needs.
- Conduct regular 1:1s with directors, facilitate team meetings, and engage in customer-facing activities such as onboarding, troubleshooting, and relationship management.
- Oversee KPIs, budget planning, and strategic initiatives to maintain and grow revenue around $24M to $30M annually
- Partner with global colleagues in Germany and Canada to share best practices and improve service standards.

This is a permanent role that requires being onsite in Blackwood, NJ and 25% travel domestically to client sites and Colorado headquarters.

Compensation:
$130,000 to $200,000 per year annual salary.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
