Job Description

A client of Insight Global is seeking an Entry-Level Hardware Engineer to support a large, mission-critical space program within the aerospace and defense industry. This individual will work hands-on with satellite-related infrastructure in a secure, onsite environment, supporting 24x7 operations. The role is ideal for someone early in their engineering career who is eager to learn, grow, and gain exposure to real-world aerospace systems, networking hardware, and documentation efforts while contributing to a high-impact national defense mission.

Pay Range: $30-55/hour

Required Skills & Experience

Degree in Aerospace Engineering or related Engineering discipline
Entry-level candidate with strong interest in aerospace/space systems
Self-starter with eagerness to learn and grow in a hands-on environment
Active TS clearance (required)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Exposure to Cisco and/or Juniper networking equipment
Experience or familiarity with hardware assembly and COTS products
Drawing or documentation experience (Visio preferred)
