Job Description

The Commissions Clerk is responsible for accurately managing and recording the agency’s incoming direct bill
commissions. This role ensures timely reconciliation of commission statements, maintains accurate financial
records within the agency management system, and helps support overall accounting operations. The position
requires strong attention to detail, effective communication with staff, carriers, and brokers, and consistent
adherence to agency workflows and standards. Reliability and adherence to established procedures are essential,
as the position plays a key part in supporting financial integrity across the organization. Regular and reliable
attendance is essential for success in this role.

Required Skills & Experience

- Ability to manage financial records and ensure accuracy in Date Entry
- Computer proficient and knowledgeable with Microsoft Office
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or commission processing
- Experience handling ACH transactions and bank reconciliations

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Master's Degree in Accounting or Payroll
- Internship experience
