Job Description
An entertainment and talent agency client is seeking a detail-oriented Collections Specialist to support the Accounts Receivable and Finance teams during a period of high volume and growth within the fashion division. This role focuses on managing outstanding receivables, supporting cash application, and serving as a key liaison between booking teams, offshore partners, and high-profile clients across fashion, beauty, and production.
Key Focus Areas
- Manage AR aging and perform proactive collections outreach
- Support high‑volume cash application and payment research (SAP-based)
- Resolve unapplied cash, short pays, duplicates, and misapplied remittances
- Serve as main liaison between billing, receivables, offshore teams, and agents
- Manage PO processes and submit invoices via client portals (Coupa, Ariba, luxury brand portals)
- Handle escalations, demand letters, and pre‑collection support as needed
- Partner with managers/agents and communicate professionally with high‑profile clients

Required Skills & Experience
- 3–5+ years of AR or Collections experience
- Experience in high‑volume, service‑based environments
- SAP experience strongly preferred
- Experience with Coupa / Ariba or similar invoicing portals
- Strong Excel skills
- Detail‑oriented, persistent, and process‑driven
- Polished communicator; comfortable working with agents and premium clients
- Fast‑paced, team‑oriented mindset
- Interest in fashion/beauty/entertainment a plus
