Job Description
A client of Insight Global's is seeking a Remote People Operations Project Manager for a contract opportunity. This individual will sit at the intersection of HR operations, systems, and project management, leading high-impact initiatives that improve processes, enhance compliance, and optimize the employee experience. The ideal candidate brings strong Workday expertise, a structured approach to project execution, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a fully remote environment. This is a great opportunity to support meaningful work while driving operational excellence across People Operations.
Day-to-Day:
Lead People Operations projects from initiation through completion
Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and deliverables
Coordinate across stakeholders and drive execution without direct authority
Own and manage ORM audits end-to-end, including documentation and tracking
Support remediation efforts and compliance initiatives
Use Workday for reporting, workflows, and operational support
Assist with system testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution
Partner with HRIS/ERP teams on integrations and system improvements
Provide support across the employee lifecycle (onboarding, changes, offboarding)
Maintain and enhance process documentation and workflows
Collaborate with HR leadership and technical teams to improve efficiency and employee experience

Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of Hands-on Workday experience (reporting, workflows, troubleshooting, testing)
Proven project/program management experience end-to-end
Background in HR Operations / People Operations / HRIS
Experience supporting audits, compliance, or risk management
Strong ability to work cross-functionally and manage stakeholders
PST Hours
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Background in healthcare, nonprofit, or regulated environments
Experience driving process improvements and operational efficiencies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
