Job Description

An Insight Global employer is looking for a Firmware Engineer to join their embedded software team. This person will have programming experience in C, C++, and Micro Python for embedded systems, including development of algorithms, manipulation of data structures, and implementing highly optimized code. The ideal candidate will also have knowledge of ARM or equivalent embedded microcontroller architectures. Your primary responsibility will be to create firmware for implantable devices within the cardiac rhythm management division. You'll collaborate with other engineers, including designers and verification engineers, to determine project architecture and constraints.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years experience in a medical device company or regulated environment (aerospace, automotive) performing static code analysis

- 3+ years of experience in embedded firmware design or equivalent experience

- Proficient programming embedded systems with python, C++, or C

- Experience in the medical device or highly regulated environment

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
