The Senior Engineering Project Manager will be responsible for the successful delivery of software and infrastructure engineering programs and projects, as well as planning and executing in both Waterfall and Agile methodologies. This position requires strong communication, influencing, project management, and Agile skills.
Key Responsibilities:
· Serve as the single point of contact for assigned engineering teams as program manager, project manager, or scrum master depending on assignments
· Lead and manage multiple programs and projects and activities of varying methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, Kanban), types, and sizes, ensuring objectives and project deliverables are accomplished according to plan
· Build an effective working partnership with engineers to lead team to success
· Synthesize and simplify complete concepts/requirements to the team and stakeholders and tie back to business objectives
· Plan, open, and track tasks in Jira
· Create and manage all required project artifacts (e.g. meeting minutes, action items, status reports)
· Coordinate and facilitate weekly project status meetings, daily standups, and agile ceremonies
· Effectively manage program or project lifecycle from start to finish
· Utilize enterprise project management tools and applications to provide project status and reporting, while adhering to PMO processes, documentation standards, and best practices
· Effectively manage time and prioritize tasks and work streams to achieve department and business goals
· Manage risks, issues, track and resolve dependencies and utilize resources to remove impediments to the team
· Partner with colleague program, project and product managers within the organization

B.S./B.A. degree in relevant field (or equivalent work experience)
· Must have PMP Certification
· CSM certification
· Scrum, Kanban experience
· Proficient in Jira, Confluence and JQL queries
· 10+ years experience leading complex engineering programs and projects
· Solid understanding of media engineering practices
· Experience with project management tools, such as Jira, Clarizen, and ServiceNow
· Excellent organization and communication skills, as well as strong and consistent attention to detail
· Foundational understanding of software and infrastructure engineering technologies (compute, storage, network, database, cloud, devops, infrastructure as code, front/back-end development)
· Ability to effectively summarize status and communicate with senior leadership
· Adaptable performer who can lead effectively under pressure and through significant change
· Ability and desire to continually learn about new technologies, project management methodologies, and adapt to ever-changing business and industry needs
· Ability to manage multiple programs and projects independently
· Familiar with leading projects within a program structure (reporting up to a program manager, leadership, etc.)
Previous work experience within media entertainment industry
· Previous experience as an engineer
· DevOps experience
· Culture carrier with strong leadership skills to drive, deliver, develop and inspire
· Results-oriented with initiative to work until job is complete
· Experience in US digital Media
· Experience in video supply chain, infrastructure, delivery systems and playback preferred
