An employer is seeking a Digital Project Manager in Universal City, CA.
The individual will be part of the PMO team and will be responsible for working on technology teams delivering projects to enable and support business priorities.
The candidate will operate in a matrix environment managing projects that include resources from cross-functional teams and guiding them through processes that most effectively deliver IT solutions.
The Project Manager will be directly accountable for the project's results. Key responsibilities include leading all aspects of Lean-Agile Project Management.
The candidate must have strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple assignments across the organization following project management principles.
The role requires strong communication and relationship management skills to effectively deal with business sponsors and executives and sometimes conflicting sets of priorities and requirements.
Proven strong problem-solving skills are a necessity.
As a member of the our client's organization, you will be working hand in hand with a high-performance team delivering results that directly impact the bottom line. Role and responsibilities include producing process improvements and recommendations on managing digital projects.
This resource must have experience in managing project tasks, deadlines, presentations and status reports.
Responsibilities will include:
Establishing and maintaining a schedule with Product Manager(s), identifying key milestones/dates and deliverables
Tracking to milestones and reporting on status and issues, escalating as needed
Managing vendor and multiple internal teams on different work streams, syncing with them on a regular basis to track progress towards milestones
Identifying dependencies and establish plans to mitigate risks
Monitoring and holding the teams accountable to processes
Monitoring the backlog and ensuring stories meet the teams Definition of Ready (DoR) prior to development beginning
Reviewing and securing approvals by stakeholders at major milestones
Scheduling and leading project meetings, distribute meetings notes afterwards
Managing project documentation and repositories

- 4+ more years of experience in a Project Manager role directly involved with managing and delivering technology (SDLC) projects in an Agile environment
- Experience project managing consumer-facing digital products
-Experience managing vendors
- Excellent in-depth knowledge of Agile processes based on hands-on, proven experience.
- Excellent oral and written communications. Demonstrated ability to manage, assess and communicate project health using qualitative and quantitative measures with all levels of business and technology in one-on-one, small and large group settings.
- Experience in organizing and creating project workflows, diagrams, timelines, etc.
- Experience with project management software - Jira or Confluence
- Digital Distribution and Entertainment industry experience a plus
- Industry experience in Broadcasting, New/Interactive Media
- Technical background a plus
