Our client is seeking a highly skilled Systems Analyst to support the development and optimization of platform services that power our video streaming ecosystem. This role focuses on analyzing, documenting, and improving backend systems that enable content discovery, playback, entitlements, and monetization across AVOD (Ad-Supported Video on Demand) and TVOD (Transactional Video on Demand) platforms. Youll act as a key liaison between product, engineering, and partner teams to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
System Requirements & Analysis
Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements for backend services including content catalog, entitlements, metadata, and content delivery systems.
Conduct system impact analysis and identify upstream/downstream dependencies across platform components.
Translate product goals into functional and non-functional requirements, data flows, and interface specifications.
Collaborate with engineering teams to design scalable, resilient backend solutions that meet both internal and external stakeholder needs.
Act as the bridge between Product Management, Engineering, QA, Design, and external partners to ensure shared understanding and delivery of technical solutions.
Support third-party partner integrations for metadata ingestion, catalog feeds, and entitlement systems.
Participate in system design reviews and technical grooming sessions; identify gaps in existing architecture and recommend enhancements.
Monitor system performance and contribute to root cause analysis, bug triaging, and platform hardening efforts.
Maintain up-to-date documentation including technical specifications, process flows, integration maps, and version histories.
Support QA and UAT teams by providing use cases, test scenarios, and traceability matrices.
Stay informed on emerging trends in streaming tech, metadata standards, DRM, ad tech, and content delivery systems.

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical discipline.
57 years of experience in systems/business analysis, technical product support, or platform integration. Preferably in media, entertainment, or streaming technology.
Deep understanding of video delivery workflows (DRM, SSAI, CDN), metadata standards, entitlements, and monetization models (AVOD/TVOD).
Experience working with APIs (REST/GraphQL), third-party content feeds, and backend system integrations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to communicate technical concepts to both engineering and non-technical stakeholders.
