Job Description

An employer is looking for a Program Nurse to work for a Mental Health client in NorCal. Our client is a mission-driven organization dedicated to delivering compassionate, evidence-based mental health care across California. They specialize in integrated outpatient services that support individuals on their journey toward emotional and psychological well-being. As the Program Nurse, you are the clinical cornerstone of our outpatient team. You’ll work alongside a multi-disciplinary team to ensure patients receive timely, coordinated, and compassionate care. You will be the glue that holds the clinic together—bridging communication, managing clinical flow, and advocating for patient needs.

Additional day to day:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, gathering clinical information and communicating it effectively to providers.
- Take and record vitals for 10–18 patients per day.
- Call in prescriptions when the psychiatrist is unavailable, ensuring continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold clinical standards in a fast-paced behavioral health setting.

Schedule: 8:30-5 Mon-Friday
Paying: $45-60/HR

Required Skills & Experience

- Active California RN license in good standing.
- Minimum 3 years of nursing experience, preferably in behavioral health or outpatient care.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
-Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team.
- Comfortable managing moderate-to-high patient volume with empathy and professionalism.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Background in psychiatric nursing or primary care
