Product Safety Engineer

Knowledge/Experience:
* Knowledge of Systems Engineering development lifecycles
* Knowledge of development assurance processes for hardware and software
* Experience with Built-In-Test and its application to RM&S preferred
* Detailed knowledge of the inputs and outputs of the various RM&S analysis techniques
* Experience with the system safety methods of ARP4761 or MIL-STD-882, with emphasis on
hazard mitigation processes
* Must have experience with a fault tree modeling
* Ability to read electrical and mechanical engineering drawings, to include schematics, wiring
diagrams and assembly drawings
* Experience with requirements derivation and capture

Professional Requirements:
* 5 or more years of relevant experience in aerospace or similar field
* Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and written communication skills
