Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive House Manager to oversee the daily operations of a private residence in Lake Tahoe. This individual will ensure the home is impeccably maintained, fully stocked, and ready to meet the principal’s preferences at all times. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, excellent judgment, and the ability to balance visibility with discretion.

Required Skills & Experience

Vendor Coordination: Manage and schedule all service providers, including housekeepers, chefs, movers, designers, and other vendors.

Daily Oversight: Be on-site daily to ensure the property is fully stocked, clean, and functioning smoothly.

Maintenance Collaboration: Work closely with the Tahoe maintenance team and the Bay Area house manager to maintain consistency and high standards across properties.

Lifestyle Support: Provide local recommendations and assist with planning activities such as skiing, boating, and other Tahoe experiences.

Inventory & Supplies: Monitor household inventory and ensure timely replenishment of essentials.

Event Support: Assist with planning and coordinating in-home events or gatherings as needed.



Proven experience in estate management, hospitality, or luxury property operations.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; high emotional intelligence.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

Familiarity with Lake Tahoe area, including local vendors and recreational activities (preferred).

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

A local Tahoe resident with strong knowledge of the area’s amenities and services.
Service-oriented, proactive, and adaptable to changing needs.
Comfortable working independently while collaborating with remote teams.
