Insight Global is assisting a client in identifying a Regional Sales Manager in the Greater Bay Area to accelerate growth across a broad, long tail customer base through a partner led sales strategy. This role is a newly created, strategic partner sales position focused on driving revenue entirely through distribution and rep partners, rather than owning direct purchase orders. The Regional Sales Manager, Partners acts as the technical and commercial leader within the distribution ecosystem. You will work hands on with distributors, rep firms, and internal sales teams to activate partners, enable technical selling, and drive adoption of solutions across Tier 2–Tier 4 customers.
This role blends technical expertise, channel sales execution, and field presence, requiring someone comfortable engaging directly with engineers while also pushing distributors to prioritize and grow Nordic’s business. The position will report to the Regional Sales Director and focus on growing market share across the broad market in Nordic’s product categories while ensuring Nordic have a greater share of hearts and minds within the partner community. The position requires proven experience in technical sales, ideally within the semiconductor industry - and strong skills in distribution management, negotiation, and communication. Success in this role demands solid business acumen, an analytical and diligent approach, the ability to translate technical challenges into compelling customer solutions, and a proactive, collaborative, and strategic mindset
Key Responsibilities
• Build strategic and influential relationships with partners at a senior level and gain support for organization in the designated territory.
• Drive marketing initiatives in collaboration with the partners, focused on lead generation and market awareness of Nordic in the designated territory.
• In close collaboration with Nordic’s business units enhance the sales tools to help the partners win more Nordic broad market business.
• Engage the partner sales organization at account and FAE manager level to help identify, negotiate and win opportunities for Nordic.
• Report partner POS performance to budget & year-on-year, opportunity pipeline, design wins, highlights and lowlights.
• Conduct quarterly partner business reviews to review past performance versus KPI’s and agree on targets for the coming period.

Required Skills & Experience
• Bachelor in electronics engineering, computer science or related technical field
• Experience working with distributors in the semiconductor or embedded technology industry (wireless technologies and cloud/software services)
• Full stack profile: highly technical depth + commercial mindset
• Strong sales background - enjoys working with customers directly in person (lunches, meetings, presentations)
• Eager to grow business and energized to build something that isn’t fully formed yet
• Experience working through distribution and rep partners
• Excellent communication skills; ability to present, discuss the business, and negotiate through complex sales transactions.
