Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager, Portfolio Operations to drive portfolio governance, intake management, and cross-functional program execution across a complex customer support and operations organization. This individual will oversee a diverse portfolio of initiatives, partnering closely with stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Operations, Marketing, Strategy, and Support teams to evaluate, prioritize, resource, and execute high-impact work.
The ideal candidate is a strong program leader who thrives in highly matrixed environments, can navigate ambiguity, and has a proven track record of building scalable processes that improve operational efficiency and business outcomes. This role requires exceptional communication skills, executive presence, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent programs while influencing stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee a large portfolio of programs and initiatives, balancing competing priorities, resource constraints, and business objectives.
- Evaluate new initiatives and determine support requirements, risks, dependencies, and resource needs.
- Own and continuously improve the program intake process for new requests originating from cross-functional partners.
- Evaluate incoming requests to determine scope, level of support required, resourcing implications, and anticipated business impact.
- Serve as the primary point of coordination across a broad network of cross-functional stakeholders.
- Create and deliver bi-weekly, monthly, and quarterly portfolio updates for leadership audiences.
- Provide portfolio-level insights and drive accountability across stakeholder groups.
- Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities to improve program execution and operational effectiveness.
- Leverage existing operational tools and automations while proactively identifying additional optimization opportunities.

Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of experience in Program Management, Portfolio Management, Operations Program Management, or Project Management.
- Proven experience managing large, complex portfolios consisting of multiple concurrent programs and initiatives.
- Demonstrated success operating within a highly matrixed, geographically dispersed organization.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including experience creating executive-level communications and reporting.
- Experience utilizing portfolio management and work-tracking tools such as Jira, Asana, Smartsheet, Airtable, or similar platforms.
- Experience with resource planning, capacity management, portfolio governance, and prioritization frameworks.
- Experience in a technology company supporting customer operations, technical operations, support organizations, or post-sales environments.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Familiarity with AI-enabled workflows, automation tools, and operational process optimization.
- Experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) programs is a plus.
