Job Description

Introduction: This is a great new opportunity for an experienced, driven and enthusiastic Sr Instructional Designer to join our Customer Support Training team and share your innovative course design ideas with the Meta Reality Labs Customer Support Organization.

We are looking for a seasoned and creative instructional designer with experience designing and developing product, process and support tools training content for contact center agents or a similar audience at scale. This person should have experience applying the necessary adult learning models for all modalities of training content (WBT, ILT, SIMS, DEMO,VILT, Job-Aids ect..), work well with cross functional teams, interface easily with vendor teams, be learner focused and able to easily design complex product knowledge into an engaging learning experience. We are looking for a self-starter who takes initiative and enjoys risk taking in their designs. Project management skills are essential to this role for full ownership of the training content..


End to end analysis of learning need and learner audience

Apply instructional design principles to design and develop product knowledge training

Take full ownership of each project working collaboratively with SMEs and stakeholders

Apply design innovation to product training, process/procedure training, support tool training

Design and develop clear course outlines, storyboards and voice over scripting

Manage all stakeholder exchanges, reviews, readouts and follow ups

Work collaboratively with cross functional teams and vendors

Provide guidance to stakeholders on all training development requests

Provide regular reporting on all project milestones

Track agent performance metrics, course content satisfaction and all other content feedback

Required Skills & Experience

7 + years of experience

Able to work in ambiguous fast paced setting

Advanced project management skills

Advanced design and development skills

Experience developing using various rapid development tools ( Articulate 360, Storyline, Adobe suite, Slides or PPT, Vyond or equivalences)

Knowledge of LMS use and functionality (CSOD)

Knowledge of relevant training metrics (Kirkpatrick or other..)

Knowledge of team dynamics and success metrics

Knowledge of PM tools

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Understanding of contact center operations

Proven ability to influence stakeholders and build trust

Proficiency with structured authoring tools

Proficiency driving cross functional team process improvement to benefit training quality

Storyboarding and scripting for video
