Electrical Engineer AR/VR Prototyping
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our team, who will design, build, and test prototype electrical systems for future consumer VR and AR experiences. The ideal candidate will have a broad set of experiences, including digital and analog/mixed signal design, power systems, wearables, or low-power design, with a strong preference for candidates with FPGA or firmware development experience.
Responsibilities
Design schematics, complete board layouts, assemble, test, debug, and integrate designs into electro-mechanical systems.
Collaborate in a cross-functional team environment across engineering disciplines.
Transform vendor reference designs into custom solutions.
Translate ambiguous requirements into functional hardware prototypes.
Incubate new technologies into research prototypes.

4+ years of experience with a BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
Experience with FPGA development (e.g., Verilog/VHDL) or firmware bring-up in C for embedded systems.
Strong experience in both analog and digital circuit design.
Proficiency with schematic and board design tools such as Cadence OrCAD, Altium, or equivalent.
Hands-on experience with standard electrical engineering lab tools: oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, function generators, etc.
Experience with mixed-domain circuit design: filters, op-amps, ADC/DACs, power supply design, high-speed differential circuits, microcontrollers, microprocessors, and programmable logic.
Familiarity with high-speed signaling protocols such as DP, MIPI, HDMI, and USB SS.
Familiarity with VR/AR systems or wearable, low-power, or portable electronic devices.
Python scripting experience.
Experience working with IMUs and sensor systems, including calibration techniques.
Experience defining and coordinating test procedures in lab and factory environments.
Ability to independently design and deliver full system prototypes
