A client in the Southern California area is hiring for a GM. This individual will oversee 2 sites consisting of 350+ employees and oversees 200M in annual revenue. This role will be primarily focused around improving processes within the facilities, upgrading old equipment, creating efficiencies, and driving operational excellence. This candidate will need to have a thorough understanding of precision aerospace manufacturing and be motivated to apply lean manufacturing principles in an effort to modernize and improve the delivery of these sites. The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of experience in this space and be motivated by successful program delivery. This role is accountable for maintaining standards, delivering measurable results, and strategically contributing to the company's ongoing growth and industry leadership.

- Bachelors Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience (Masters preferred)
- 7+ years of experience managing large, complex engineering efforts from a process improvement, labor/overhead, and lean manufacturing perspective within the aerospace manufacturing industry
- Experience driving cost optimization initiatives, automation initiatives, and quality control process improvement
- Extensive knowledge of aerospace machining, welding, sheet metal fabrication, MRP systems, job costing and Lean Manufacturing principles
- Proven track record of improving tough facilities or tough programs and achieving operational excellence via on-time delivery and safety compliance
- Strong presentation skills
