Job Description

Lead supplier recovery management efforts, including transferring work between suppliers to mitigate chronic capacity constraints, performance issues, and supply shortages.
Conduct proactive supplier risk assessments using Parker risk assessment tools, structured surveys, and polling mechanisms to identify early warning signs and prevent unplanned disruptions
Manage and assess approximately 700 suppliers annually by force-ranking and prioritizing suppliers based on business criticality, operational risk, and quality performance.
Partner closely with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations to align recovery actions, technical requirements, and delivery expectations.
Drive cross-functional project execution to ensure supplier recovery plans are implemented effectively and deliver measurable results.
Provide clear visibility to leadership on supplier risk exposure, recovery status, and mitigation plans.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
Strong technical aptitude with hands-on experience in engineering and/or quality-focused roles.
Demonstrated experience in supplier management, supplier development, or supplier risk mitigation within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Proven leadership ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive projects to completion in a matrixed organization.
Strong analytical and prioritization skills, with the ability to assess risk across a large supplier base and focus efforts where they matter most.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence internal stakeholders and suppliers at multiple levels.
